IMPORTANT: 8-Mbit Flash Memory with 128-bit Protection Register. All 128 bits are located in Buffer addresses100000h-10000Fh. The first 64 bits or the Unique Device Number are pre-programmed by themanufacturer and cannot be modified. Program’ ‘Compare’ and ‘Verify’ operations will ignore thesebits. The other 64 bits are the User Programmable OTP Area in Buffer addresses 100008h-10000Fh.The protection options are found under the Device Configure. Setting ‘Lockout Security Block’to ENABLE will permanently lock Parameter Block #0 Buffer addresses 000000h-001FFFh. Setting’Lockout User Programmable OTP Area’ to ENABLE will permanently lock the OTP Area and protect theSecurity Block protection bit from any further change. ‘
