IMPORTANT: This is a Flash Memory with an additional Extended Memory Block(OTP).This block is mapped from 800000h to 800007Fh (buffer locations: 1000000h – 10000FFh).be changed. This block can be purchased programmed andlocked from the factory. The configuration option for thefactory lock is used to indicate the status of the chip. If this option is different than the stateof the chip during verification or compare it will cause an error. If the part has not been lockedby the factory the Extended Memory block(Buffer locations: 1000000h-10000FFh) can be programmed and protected by the user. However programming and protecting this area are One-Time-Programmable (OTP) operation. Once protected data in this are cannot be overwritten.When erasing the Extended Memory Block the programmer will blank-check the Extended Memory Block area and will fail the ERASE operation if this area is not blank. The ERASE operation will also fail if this area has been protected. This algorithm does not support Password Protection.The default Device Range is set to [000000h-7FFFFFh]. Please select Entire File’ under Device Range if Extended memory Block needs to be included. ‘
