IMPORTANT: Flash Memory with an Extended Memory Block.The Extended Memory Block is mapped to 400000h-40007Fh (buffer locations: 800000h-8000FFh).The first 64-word of this block (buffer locations: 800000h-80007Fh) is factory locked thusunavailable to customer. The rest 64-word (buffer locations: 800080h-8000FFh) can be treatedas an additional OTP block with OTP block protection. When Erasing the Extended Memory Blockthe programmer will blank-check the block and will fail the ERASE operation if the area isnot blank. The ERASE operation will also fail if the OTP area has been locked.If Auto Range Detection’ is set to YES the OTP block will not be programmed or verified.This device has four different Software Protection modes: Standard PasswordOTP and Irreversible Protection modes. It defaults to the Standard Protection mode.Once a modify protection mode has been programmed it cannot be changed and the devicewill permanently operate in the selected mode. If other than Standard mode is desiredthe user must change it through Device Configure menu. If Password Protection mode is selectedplease input the 64-bit password. The Lock-Down bit can also be set through Device Configuremenu. Once it is Set it cannot be changed back to Clear. However Password Protection Unlockcan temporarily clear it to unprotect all Non-Volatile Protection bits when the device is inPassword Protection Mode. Users must know what Software Protection mode the devices are inbefore using this algoritm. Please see device data sheet and application note for more information. ‘
