IMPORTANT: This is a Custom algorithm for support of individual sector protection. The sector protection bits are mapped from 4000280h to 40002BFh (Buffer locations: 8000500h – 800057Fh). This range is automatically included and does not need to be selected in the Device Range selection. Each bit in the range corresponds to a sector in the format of [15..0] [31..16] [47..32] … [1007..992] [1023..1008]. Example 1: Buffer byte location 8000500h = F7 = 1111 0111 Buffer byte location 8000501h = FE = 1111 1110 The above pair of bytes represents sectors 15 down to 0 and the example pattern would secure sectors 11 and 0. Example 2: Buffer byte location 8000510h = FF = 1111 1111 Buffer byte location 8000511h = FE = 1111 1110 The above pair of bytes represents sectors 143 down to 128 and the example pattern would secure sector 128. 1G Bit Flash Memory with extra 512 word One Time Programmable(OTP) block and 4-Word Password area. The OTP Block Region is mapped from 4000000h to 40001FFh (Buffer locations: 8000000h – 80003FFh). The factory-locked area of the OTP Block (Data Pattern locations: 8000000h-80001FFh) is locked at factory and cannot be changed. The customer-lockable area of the OTP Block (Data Pattern locations: 8000200h-80003FFh) can be programmed and locked by the user. Once locked data in this area cannot be overwritten. The 4-Word Password area is mapped from 4000200h-4000203h (Data Pattern locations: 8000400h-8000407h). Once Password Protection Mode Lock bit is set protected sector groups can no longer be unprotected by this algorithm. Password area is only verified right after it is programmed with Program operation. Please refer to device specifications for more details on security features of the device. The default Device Range is set to [0000000h – 3FFFFFFh]. Please select ‘Entire File’ under Device > Range if OTP block and Password area need to be included. Currently this device does not support SSR2 or SSR3. ‘
