IMPORTANT: Serial Electrically Erasable PROM (EEPROM).This device is write protectable. You can input the desired address to begin write protection from under Device/Configure. If you don’t want any protectionjust enter any decimal number from 128 to 255.Secure the Protect Register is a One-Time Operation. Once this feature is enabled all memory registers whose addresses are greater than or equal to the address stored in the Protect Register will become PERMANENTLY protected against data changes.
