IMPORTANT: Default buffer value’ must be set to FFh before loading the programming data pattern.This device contains 128 bit Protection Register (OTP). The first 64 bitsare pre-programmed by the manufacturer and cannot be modified. Theother 64 bits can be modified. The User Register contains the 64 bitsthat can be modified. All 128 bits are located at buffer locations400000h-40000Fh with the User Register being located in the buffer locations400008h-40000Fh. Locking the User Register portion of the ProtectionRegister is a one time only operation.During an erase of this section the factory-programmed area is ignored and a blank check operation is performed on the user-programmable area.An error will result if the User Register was previously programmed or locked. ‘
