IMPORTANT: This is a Flash Memory with 128-bit Protection Register. The register is mapped from400000h to 400007h (buffer locations: 800000h-80000Fh). The first 64 bits arepre-programmed by the manufacturer and will be read at buffer locations800000h-800007h. These bits will be ignored during Program’ ‘Compare’and ‘Verify’ operations. The other 64 bits of the Protection Register are one timeuser programmable and are mapped at buffer locations 800008h-80000Fh. This areacan be PERMANENTLY locked under Device/Configure by setting the option to ENABLE. Ifthe user programmable segment of the Protection Register is locked or is not blankthe device will fail erase.Also please note: If ‘Auto Range Detection’ is set to YES the bits in the Protection Register will not be programmed or verified.Starting from ‘Code Revision’ 2.0 FX4ASM/FX4SM/FXASM/FXSM/ASM/SM80SPI socket modules werereplaced with FX4ASM/FX4SM/FXASM/FXSM/ASM/SM88SPJ. ‘
