Note

IMPORTANT: Algorithm support for this device selection is developed. Device samples are needed for QA testing and full release in BPWin.For information on how to obtain an expedited release of this device support please contact BPM Microsystems at:Inside Sales713–688-4600inside_sales@bpmmicro.comInformation on expected socket module support can be found our web page at: http://www.www.bpmmicro.com/find-your-device/**Please note that receipt of device samples and QA testing must be completed before socket module support can be validated.

Device Type: 8-bit Microcontroller
Device Size: 4k Bytes In-system Programmable Flash

Memory Organization:

Memory Type

Attributes(*)

Included in default Range (Y/N) DUT Physical Byte Address(hex)(if this area is selected/Activated) BPWin Buffer Byte Address(hex)
User Memory R/W/E Yes 0000_0000 – 0000_7FFF 0000_0000 – 0000_7FFF
Data Memory R/W/E Yes 0000_F000 – 0000_F7FF 0000_F000 – 0000_F7FF
Boot Memory R/W/E Yes 0000_F800 – 0000_FFFF 0000_F800 – 0000_FFFF
Default Algorithm Range 0000_0000 – 0000_FFFF 0000_0000 – 0000_FFFF

Special Device Considerations:

In the 64KB buffer memory 32KB User Memory is mapped into 0x0000 – 0x7FFF2KB Data Memory (EEPROM) is mapped into 0xF000 – 0xF7FF and br>2KB Boot Memory is mapped into 0xF800 – 0xFFFF. Part can be secured by programming Lock bits 0 through 2 of HSB under DeviceOptionsSECURE: bit 0 (LB0): Parallel programming is disabled.bit 1 (LB1): Parallel program/verify are disabled.bit 2 (LB2): Parallel program/verify/external execution are disabled. On virgin devices bit 2 (LB2) is programmed. In this case the device must be erased prior to programming. Bit 3 4 5 of HSB are reserved bits. Bit 6 7 of HSB are set under DeviceConfigure (X2 & BLJ).Standalone Verify/Compare may fail due to the self running of Flash code.

BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
