For the PMBus registers this algorithm will parse a text file generated by Monolithic Power Systems’ tools.
Uncheck Clear Data Pattern Before Loading when loading both files.
Load the firmware file at 0000_0000h-0000_FBFFh. Supported versions include MP5922GRT-fr0.hex and MP5922REV2.hex.
PMBUS operations are not guaranteed to run correctly for other firmware revisions.
Load the PMBUS text file at 0001_0000h-0001_FFFFh.
Erase operation will only do a mass erase if the range includes the Main Flash Memory. Otherwise it will be skipped.
Verify operation will only check the PMBus registers. Program operation will write and verify the firmware.
Serialization is not supported for this device.
