IMPORTANT: Securing the part is a permanent operation. This algorithm will preserve the (factory)programming of the BootRom/ISP memory. To access the ISP select the ISP’ device.Byte Order must be ‘MSB=1LSB=0’ and the default buffer value should be 0xFF.Memory locations outside the Program Memory and Data Memory must contain 0xFF.Memory locations 0xE5FC – 0xE5FE should specify the CODEAREA BOOTAREA and EMPTY settings.The SECURITY settings are NOT read from the buffer and must be set in Device/Options.If the BOOTAREA or CODEAREA features of a device are enabled it may fail stand-alone verify.However the part can still be verified immediately after programming. ‘
