IMPORTANT: This is a Flash Memory with an Extended Memory Block (OTP). This block is mapped from 1000000h to 100000FFh (Buffer locations: 2000000h – 20001FFh). The factory-locked area of the Extended Memory Block (buffer locations: 2000000h-20000FFh) is locked at factory and cannot be changed. The customer-lockable area of the Extended Memory Block (buffer locations: 2000100h-20001FFh) can be programmed and locked by the user. However programming and locking this area are One-Time-Programmable (OTP) operation. Once locked data in this are cannot be overwritten. This algorithm supports Standard Protection Mode and Password Protection Mode. The 4-Word Password area is mapped from 1000100h-1000103h (Data Pattern locations: 2000200h-2000207h). Once Password Protection Mode Lock bit is set protected sectors can no longer be unprotected by this algorithm. Password area is only verified right after it is programmed with Program operation. Please refer to device specifications for more detail on security features of the device. The default Device Range is set to [000000h-FFFFFFh]. Please select Entire File’ under Device > Range if Extended Memory Block needs to be included. ‘
