Special Device Considerations: Erase function for a Blank secured device is not supported. Values read from data flash memeory that has been erased but not yet been programming again are undefined. Security for this device cannot be verified. The Security Byte can be set under Device > Configure and programmed with Secure command. In order to program this Byte please enable Secure. Set bit 5 to 0 to disable Erase set bit 6 to 0 to disable Program set bit 7 to 0 to disable Read. Bits 4 to 0 are reserved and should be set to 1s. *Bits 5 6 and 7 cannot be erased and once bit 5 is programmed to 0 the whole chip is secured. Erase function for a Blank secured device is not supported. ‘
