Note

IMPORTANT:

Device Type: ARM Cortex -M0. 32-bit MCU with 256 KByte Flash.
Device Size: 256-KByte Flash.
Algorithm Programming Method: Serial wire debug(SWD).

Memory Organization:

Memory Type

Attributes(*)

Included in default Range (Y/N) DUT Physical Byte Address(hex)(if this area is selected/Activated) BPWin Buffer Byte Address(hex)
Main Flash Memory R/W/E Yes 0000_0000 – 0003_FFFF 0000_0000 – 0003_FFFF
Check sum bytes R Yes 9030_0000 – 9030_0001 9030_0000 – 9030_0001
flash protection R/W/E Yes 9040_0000 – 9040_007F 9040_0000 – 9040_007F
Metadata-12bytes R Yes 9050_0000 – 9050000B 9050_0000 – 9050000B
Chip Level Protection R Yes 9060_0000 – 9060_0000 9060_0000 – 9060_0000
Default Algorithm Range 0000_0000 – 9060_0001 0000_0000 – 9060_0001

* R:Read only W: One time programmable (OTP) R/W: readable and one time programmable (OTP) R/W/E: readable and rewritable if not locked. Any configurations listed under Device-Specific’ in the menu item Device-> Settings will be written to the DUT during ‘Program’ operation regardless of memory range selection.

Special Device Considerations:

1. Chip Level Protection 1 byte: [0x90600000]: There are four states of Chip Level Protection into which the silicon can be moved:[ VIRGIN(0x00) OPEN(0x01) PROTECTED(0x02) KILL(0x04)]. – VIRGIN(0x00) – This mode is not for customer use. Can not program this value to device. – OPEN(0x01) – In this mode access to all the needed resources is enabled including erase program and verify flash. – PROTECTED(0x02) – In this mode access to Flash is disabled. Still allow to erase and reprogram flash. – KILL(0x04) – The device can no longer be updated.

2. The address [0x90600001] is ignored.

3. This algorithm do not support Program User SFlash [0x0FFFF400 – 0x0FFFF7FF].

BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
