1. The ROM/Flash Memory Security Byte (MSBA) is located at 1F0000h. 2. The ROM/Flash Memory Security Unlock Key (MSUKA0-MSUKA15) is located at 1F0002h – 1F0011h. 3. To enable ROM/Flash Memory Security the value 99h must be placed at buffer address 1F0000h. If Flash Memory is not to be protected the value 66h must be placed at buffer address 1F0000h. No other value than 99h or 66h should be written there. 4. Erase will check if the ROM/Flash Memory Security Byte is enabled. If enabled a Chip Erase will be performed and benchmark times will increase.
