IMPORTANT: Microcontroller with FLASH.The following describes the Data Pattern setup:The addresses $C000 to $FDFF are Flash.The addresses $FF7E is the FLASH Block Protection Register(FLBPR).The addresses $FFDC to $FFFF are Flash and User Vectors.This device has an eight bytes security feature from $FFF6 to $FFFD. To read aprogrammed device with the security feature the Data Pattern or Device Configure mustbe filled with correct data from address $FFF6 to $FFFD. Incorrect data at theselocations will prevent access to the device.During Erase factory programmed trim value at locations $FF80 and $FF81 will be saved first and restored at the end. Erase operation uses Erase Passwords in Device->Configure to read the factory trim value. Erase will fail if the Erase Passwords do not match the device. A blank device can use all $FF’s for the Erase Passwords.ID Check actually reads the factory trim value. The ID Check cannot be disabled.During Verify the factory trim value is read back and verified against the stored value during ID Check.This algorithm does not program locations $FF80 and $FF81 from the Data Pattern.Secure command is for extended security features. After secure no further operations can be performed on the device.
