If the device is not yet supported by your BPM programmer (Generation), request Device Support
Note
IMPORTANT: This algorithm supports only page 0 of EEPROM (EPGSEL=0) in the memory map [$3C00-$3FFF]. The EEPROM is configured in 8-byte sector mode (EPGMOD=1) during all operations. The following describes the Data Pattern setup: Addresses [$2180-$3BFF] are FLASH PPAGE-0. Only 6784 Bytes are supported in PPAGE-0. Addresses [$3C00-$3FFF] are EEPROM. Addresses [$4000-$7FFF] are FLASH PPAGE-1. Addresses [$8000-$A17F] are FLASH PPAGE-0. Addresses [$BC00-$BFFF] are FLASH PPAGE-0. Addresses [$C000-$FFFF] are FLASH PPAGE-3. Addresses [$28000-$2BFFF] are FLASH PPAGE-2. Addresses [$48000-$4BFFF ] are FLASH PPAGE-4. Addresses [$58000-$5BFFF] are FLASH PPAGE-5. There are some reserved locations in the FLASH memory map. The following are reserved addresses:[$FFAE-FFAF] [$FFB8-$FFBC] and $FFBE. These locations will be ignored during Programand Verify. Erase command will be erase entire FLASH memory map included reserved memory. The lower two bits (Bit1 and Bit0) at address $FFBF are security bits (SEC01:SEC00). They are ignored during Program and Verify and read 1:0 if unsecured during Read and Compare. The EPGMOD(bit 5) at address $FFBF is EEPROM mapping mode option. This bit is ignored during program and Verify. EPGMOD bit can be programmed using Secure option. During Erase factory programmed trim value at addresses [$FFAE-$FFAF] will be saved first and restored at the end. If the device fails erase the Factory Trim value might be corrupted. The part cannot be used unless re-trimmed. If a device is secured no further operation can be performed. ‘
BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
