IMPORTANT: This device contains 128 bit Protection Register. The first 64 bits are pre-programmed by themanufacturer and cannot be modified. The Program’ ‘Compare’ and ‘Verify’ commands willignore the factory-programmed area. The last 64 bits of the Protection Register are mapped from400000h to 400007h in the buffer and are one-time-user-programmable. When Erasing this range theprogrammer will blank-check these bits and will fail the Erase command if the area is not blank.Locking the User Register portion of the Protection Register is a one time only operation. IfAutorange is enabled the 128-bit Protection Register will be excluded. ‘
