IMPORTANT: This is a Flash Memory with 128-bit Protection Register. The register is mapped from200000h to 200007h (buffer locations: 400000h-40000Fh). The first 64 bits arepre-programmed by the manufacturer and will be read at buffer locations400000h-400007h. These bits will be ignored during Program’ ‘Compare’and ‘Verify’ operations. The other 64 bits of the Protection Register are one timeuser programmable and are mapped at buffer locations 400008h-40000Fh. This areacan be PERMANENTLY locked under Device Configure by setting the option to ENABLE. Ifthe user programmable segment of the Protection Register is locked or is not blankthe device will fail erase. ‘
