IMPORTANT: Flash Memory with 128-bit Protection Register. The register is mapped from 200000h to 200007h(Buffer locations: 400000h-40000Fh). The first 64 bits are pre-programmed by the manufacturerand will be read at Buffer locations 400000h-400007h. These bits will be ignored during Program”Compare’ and ‘Verify’ operations. The other 64 bits of the Protection Register are one time userprogrammable and are mapped at Buffer locations 400008h-40000Fh. This area can be PERMANENTLYlocked under Device/Configure by setting the option to LOCK. If the user programmable segmentof the Protection Register is locked or is not blank the device will fail erase. ‘
