IMPORTANT: Flash Memory with 128-bit Protection Register. The register is mapped from 400000h to 400007h(Buffer locations: 800000h-80000Fh). The first 64 bits are pre-programmed by the manufacturer andwill be read at Buffer locations 800000h-800007h. These bits will be ignored during Program’ ‘Compare’and ‘Verify’ operations. The other 64 bits of the Protection Register are one time user programmableand are mapped at Buffer locations 800008h-80000Fh. This area can be PERMANENTLY locked underDevice/Configure by setting the option to ENABLE. If the user programmable segment of the ProtectionRegister is locked or is not blank the device will fail erase. ‘
