IMPORTANT: Flash Memory with 128-bit Protection Register. The register is mapped from 400000h to 400007h (Data Pattern locations: [800000h-80000Fh]). The first 64 bits are pre-programmed by the manufacturer and will be read at Data Pattern locations [800000h-800007h]. These bits will be ignored during Program’ ‘Compare’ and ‘Verify’ operations. The other 64 bits of the Protection Register are one time user programmable and are mapped at Data Pattern locations [800008h-80000Fh]. This area can be PERMANENTLY locked under Device > Configure by setting the option to ENABLE. If the user programmable segment of the Protection Register is locked or is not blank the device will fail Erase. ‘
