IMPORTANT: This device contains 128 bit Protection Register. The first 64 bits are mapped from 400000h to 400007h in the buffer. These bits are pre-programmed by the manufacturer and cannot be modified. The Program’ ‘Compare’ and ‘Verify’ functions will ignore the factory-programmed area. The last 64 bits of the Protection Register are mapped from 400008h to 40000Fh in the buffer and are one-time-user-programmable. When Erasing this range the programmer will blank-check these bits and will fail the erase function if the area is not blank. If ‘Auto Range Detection’ is set to YES the OTP bits of this range will not be programmed or verified. Locking the user-programmable segment of the Protection Register is a one time only operation. The default Device Range is set to [000000h-1FFFFFh]. Please select ‘Entire File’ under Device Range if Protection Registers need to be included. ‘
