IMPORTANT: This device contains a 128 bit Protection Register. The first 64 bitsare pre-programmed by the manufacturer and cannot be modified. Theother 64 bits can be modified. The User Register contains the 64 bitsthat can be modified. All 128 bits are located at buffer locations800000h-80000Fh(byte addresses). Locking the User Register portion of the ProtectionRegister is a one time only operation. The device will ignore the manufacturer portionduring Verify and Compare. If the User Register is not blank erase will fail.Set default buffer value under Buffer/Options to FFh.
