IMPORTANT: Dual 128-Mbit Flash Memory with one 64-Mbit RAM.Flash Die #1 is a bottom boot device and is mapped to addresses 000000h-7FFFFFh (buffer locations: 000000h-FFFFFFh).Flash Die #2 is a top boot device and is mapped to addresses 800000h-FFFFFFh (buffer locations: 1000000h-1FFFFFFh).Each Flash die contains a 128-bit Protection Register:Flash Die #1 Protection Register is located at buffer addresses [2000000h-200000Fh].Flash Die #2 Protection Register is located at buffer addresses [2000010h-200001Fh].The first 64 bits of each register are permanently programmed by Intel with a unique number for each flash device.The remaining 64 bits are one-time programmable (OTP) and available for the user to program.If the OTP registers are programmed the range must be set to exclude the registers orErase/Program will fail.Once programmed the user-programmable area can be locked to prevent further programming using theDevice Configure menu. Once the protection register is locked the entire user segment is lockedand no more user bits may be programmed.Verify after programming’ operation is redundant per Intel and can be set to ‘NONE’ under Device Options ‘
