IMPORTANT: Intel Bulverde Multi-Chip product (MCP) with 2x256Mbit Flash Memory (Flash Die 1 and Flash Die 2).Each Flash contains 17 128-bit Protection Registers PR0 through PR16.In the buffer these Protection Registers are mapped to address range [4000000h-400021Fh]Example: PR0[0x81-0x88] of Flash Die 1 and Flash Die 2 are mapped at [4000000h-400001Fh]PR1[0x8A-0x91] of Flash Die 1 and Flash Die 2 are mapped at [4000020h-400003Fh]and so on. PR0[63:0] are permanently programmed by Intel with unique numbers for both Flash Dies.PR0[127:64] and PR1 through PR16 are one-time programmable (OTP) and available for user to program.If one or more OTP registers are programmed the range must be set to exclude the registers orthe ERASE command will fail.User segments can be protected by programming corresponding OTP Lock Registers in Device Configure menu.This algorithm uses Double Word (x32) mode addressing. In the buffer the 32-bit data must bearranged in the following order: [Flash Die 1(D15..D0) Flash Die 2(D31..D16)].Thus setting Byte order to MSB=0LSB=1 is not allowed.***For automated socket module FX/ASM336CSP special pressure plate holder posts (P/N D02837AD) are needed.***
