IMPORTANT: 128 Mbit Flash Memory with an with an extra 256-byte (128-word) Security Sector. The Security Sector is mapped from 1000000h to 10000FFh in Data Pattern. This sector can be purchased programmed and locked from the factory. If the sector is factory locked it will need to be excluded from programming and verification ranges as the sector data could have a unique number. The configuration option for the factory lock is used to indicate the status of the chip. If this option is different from the state of the chip during Verify or Compare it will cause an error. If the Security Sector has not been locked by the factory the user can treat this sector as an additional OTP sector with OTP sector protection. When Erasing the Security Sector Erase will fail if this area has been PROTECTED. The default Device Range is set to [000000h-7FFFFFh]. Please select Entire File’ under Device > Range if Security Sector need to be included. ‘
