Note

IMPORTANT:

Device Type: IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Radio/Baseband/MAC Network Controller
Device Size: 256M-bit Flash Memory
Algorithm Programming Method: SPI Bridge Device with Custom Firmware

Memory Organization:

Memory Type Attributes* DUT Physical Byte Address(hex) BPWin Buffer Byte Address(hex)
Main Flash Memory R/W/E 0000_0000 – 0007_FFFF 0000_0000 – 0007_FFFF
Default Algorithm Range 0000_0000 – 0007_FFFF 0000_0000 – 0007_FFFF

* R/W/E: readable and rewritableSpecial Device Considerations: This algorithm only supports operations on the internal Flash memory of the DUT. The internal eFuse is currently not supported. The socket modules uses a bridge device to communicate to the DUT via SPI. If the firmware on the bridge device does not match the expected firmware revision or if the algorithm cannot read the firmware revision from the bridge device the algorithm will attempt to update the bridge device’s firmware. This should only need to be performed once per socket module each time the firmware is updated.

BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
