Included in default Range (Y/N) | DUT Physical Word Address(hex)(if this area is selected/Activated) | BPWin Buffer Word Address(hex) |
Program Memory Flash | R/W/E | Yes | 0000 – 03FF | 0000 – 03FF |
Identifiers | R/W/E | Yes | 400 – 403 | 400 – 403 |
Configuration Word | R/W/E | Yes | FFF | FFF |
* R:Read only W:One time programmable (OTP) R/W:readable and one time programmable (OTP) R/W/E:readable and rewritable if not locked. Any configurations listed under Device-Specific’ in the menu item Device-> Settings will be written to the DUT during ‘Program’ operation regardless of memory range selection.– It is recommended by Microchip that the user useonly the four Least Significant Bits of each ID location.- Both ID and Configuration word can be set from Device Configure orfrom the above mentioned addresses in your data file.- Code protection can only be set by enabling the Secure Option.- The Oscillator Calibration Bits are stored at the Reset Vector. To program these bits for custom trimming of the INTOSC you mustENABLE ‘Erase before programming’ and also in Device ConfigureENABLE ‘Customer Trimming INTOSC’ then set your desired value in’RESET VECTOR VALUE’. Otherwise these bits will be restoredto the factory setting value.- The Sum command generates the checksum calculation as specified by Microchip.
DATA FILE FORMATTING:– As this device is a 12-bit core each data word in the data fileshould not contain any ones in the 4 most significant bits. These bits will be ignored and not programmed and will always read back as zeroes.Even if this is not followed the device will still program and verify. Please confirm that only fill values are being missed.Compare will fail if the device was programmed with an incorrectly formatted file. ‘
BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
