If the device is not yet supported by your BPM programmer (Generation), request Device Support

Note

IMPORTANT: The Device Sum command is updated from algorithm revision 1.5and it is to calculate Device checksum. The Sum’ command generates the checksumcalculation as specified by Microchip. The devices will have an oscillator calibration value (Osccal) programmed from the manufacturer atbuffer addresses 7FEh-7FFh. This algorithm will not program these addresses. The ID locations are addressed in the buffer at 4000h – 4007h.It is recommended byMicrochip to use the only low order 7 bits of the User ID.The Configuration word is located at buffer address 400Eh. Both the ID andConfiguration word may be set from the CONFIGURE menu or from the abovementioned addresses in your data file. FLASH memory (User program memory) isaddress in the buffer at 000h – 7FDh EEPROM (Data Memory) is addressed in thethe buffer at 4200h-42FFh.The bandgap bits in the Configuration word come programmed from the manufacturerand cannot be altered. To secure the device select the desired security option and then choose’Secure after Programming’ before programming the device.!!!!Erasing the device will erase both memories along with the Configuration word and ID bits.!!!! ‘

BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
