Note

IMPORTANT:

Device Type: ARM-based 32-bit MCU + Digital Power Processer
Device Size: 64 KByte Flash Memory
Algorithm Programming Method: Flash Writer Mode + PMBus

Memory Organization:

Memory Type

Attributes(*)

Included in default Range (Y/N) DUT Physical Byte Address(hex)(if this area is selected/Activated) BPWin Buffer Byte Address(hex)
Main Flash Memory R/W/E No 0000_0000 – 0000_FBFF 0000_0000 – 0000_FBFF
PMBus Registers R/W/E Yes N/A 0001_0000 – 0001_FFFF
Default Algorithm Range 0000_0000 – 0001_FFFF 0000_0000 – 0001_FFFF

* R:Read only W: One time programmable (OTP) R/W: readable and one time programmable (OTP) R/W/E: readable and rewritable if not locked. Any configurations listed under Device-Specific’ in the menu item Device-> Settings will be written to the DUT during ‘Program’ operation regardless of memory range selection. Special Device Considerations:

For the PMBus registers this algorithm will parse a text file generated by Monolithic Power Systems’ tools.
When loading the files please load the firmware at data pattern address 0000_0000h and the configuration file at data pattern address 0001_0000h.

Uncheck Clear Data Pattern Before Loading when loading both files.
From 0000_0000h-0000_FBFFh the algorithm will program the firmware. From 0001_0000h-0001_FFFFh the algorithm will program the PMBus registers.
When only the PMBus registers are selected please make sure the slave address for all devices being programmed are the same.Erase operation will only do a mass erase if the range includes the Main Flash Memory. Otherwise it will be skipped.
Verify operation will only check the PMBus registers. Program operation will write and verify the firmware.
Serialization is not supported for this device.

BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
