IMPORTANT: M16C/62 Microcomputer Flash Memory Version.The Byte order’ in Device/Options must be MSB=1LSB=0 (Little-Endian). The buffer setup (word address):addresses 00000h-00FFFh (00000h-01FFFh in buffer) are the Boot ROM area;addresses 70000h-7FFFFh (E0000h-FFFFFh in buffer) are the User ROM area;addresses 01000h-6FFFFh (02000h-DFFFFh in buffer) are not used and should be set to FFh.To protect the Device use the Device/Options menu.The Protect Control Address (FFFFFh in buffer) should always be set tothe value FFh. Device will fail Verify if this address is not set properly. The Boot ROM area of the device has had a standard serial I/O modecontrol program stored in it when shipped from the Mitsubishi factory.Therefore if the device is going to be used in standard serial I/O modedo not rewrite the Boot ROM area (set Ranges to [70000h-7FFFFh] under DEVICE/OPTIONS).All blocks can be programmed or erased regardless of the stateof the lock-bits and the lock-bits can be cleared only by erase.The on-chip flash memory can be programmed/erased for up to 100 times.Once device is secured it cannot be read/erased/programmed any more. ‘
