IMPORTANT: M16C/62A Microcomputer Flash Memory Version.In the buffer 8K-byte Boot Block is mapped to 00000h-01FFFh.User ROM area is divided into several blocks and they are mapped to C0000h-FFFFFh.Buffer locations 02000h-BFFFFh are not used.The Protect Control Address (FFFFFh in buffer) contains security bits.Device Configure Options allow the individual ROM sections to be selected for device operations. Before executingany command at least 1 Operations Area must be selected.All blocks can be locked by setting LOCK under Device Configure and the lock-bits can be cleared only by erase.The Boot ROM area of the device has a standard serial I/O modecontrol program stored in it when shipped from the factory.Therefore if the device is going to be used in standard serial I/O modedo not rewrite the Boot ROM area.
