If secured standalone operations will fail.Device Configure Options allow the individual ROM sections to be selected for device operations. Before executingany command at least 1 Operations Area must be selected.All blocks can be locked by setting LOCK under Device Configure and the lock-bits can be cleared only by erase.The Boot ROM area of the device has a standard serial I/O modecontrol program stored in it when shipped from the factory.Therefore if the device is going to be used in standard serial I/O modedo not rewrite the Boot ROM area. ‘
