Special Device Considerations:

1. ID Code Protection is mapped to 00FF_FFA0 – 00FF_FFAFh in the data buffer. Refer to the User Manual for more information. If Control Code is set to 0x52 and not in Authentication Method 3 the device can only be erased if the entire ID Code matches in the Device->Config option. 2. ROM Code Protection is mapped to 00FF_FF9C – 00FF_FF9Fh in the data buffer: 0’s will protect the device from being accessed. 1’s is accessible. Protection is Permanent. 3. Standalone verify is not supported. 4. The device must be programmed with ID code protection enabled. Otherwise the device will erase all memory contents after its next power up.
