*R:Read only W: One time programmable (OTP) R/W: readable and one time programmable (OTP) R/W/E: readable and rewritable if not locked. Special Device Considerations:
Security Data Frame | Description
Security Flag | Set Bit 0 to 0 will disable Chip Erase Set Bit 1 to 0 will disable Block Erase Set Bit 2 to 0 will disable Program. Bit 3 should always be set to 1 since this device doesn’t support Read operation. Set Bit 4 to 0 will disable Boot block rewrite. Bits 5 to 7 are reserved and should be set to 1s. Bits 1 & 2 can be erased through Chip Erase but once bit 0 or 4 are programmed to 0 the whole chip is secured and no operation can be done on it.
Boot Cluster |
Boot cluster last block number (fixed to 07H)Fixed value determined by 78K0R/Fx3 Firmware information app note (ZUD-BG-09-0167) | Flash Shield Window |
Flash shield window starting and ending block numbers Broken into 4 bytes: FSWS(H) FSWS(L) FSWE(H) FSWE(L) |
|
1. | The Security Data Frame can be set via two methods (Secure must be enabled):
A: Security Data Frame can manually be set under Device > Configure and programmed with Secure command.
B: Loading an RPI data file will pass Security Data Frame to the algorithm and is programmed with Secure command.
2. | Loading an RPI formatted file will overwrite and bypass any changes/settings in the configuration options.
3. | The data flash area cannot be written by using a dedicated flash memory programmer.. |
