Note

IMPORTANT: This is a Custom algorithm. In addition to supporting the device User Data Area this algorithm can be used to update the device FW. This option is disabled by default. To activate the update FW procedure please select Enabled’ to ‘Include FW update during Program and Verify’ under Device->Settings AND load the required files listed in the table below to the addresses shown. If enabled the FW update will be done in Program operation whereas Verify operation will verify the HWPage and WPPage. Selecting Read and Compare operations will only read/compare the data in the device’s User Data Area (if included). It is recommended to set device range to 0000_0000_0000h – 0000_003F_FFFFh if no customer data is required to be programmed into the device’s User Data Area. Default device range is set to 0000_0040_0000h – 0001_D73F_FFFFh. This can be changed under Device->Settings.

8GB MMC Card. The device contains 15433728 sectors. The Sector Count in the Extended CSD Register of the device might be less than the supported number of sectors. Ranges selectable under Device->Range must be aligned to 16384 device sectors. Each physical sector on the device has 512 bytes. Erased memory content for the device is 00h. Simple serialization is not supported for this device and should not be used. Custom log file will only be updated during Program operation if ‘Include FW update during Program and Verify’ is ‘Enabled’ under Device->Settings ‘
