Note
IMPORTANT: The device has 3 memory banks.In the Buffer first 512KWord is Flash Bank 1; the next 512KWord is Flash Bank 2;the last 4KWord is EE Bank. The first sector sector of EE Bank (first 32 words in EE Bank)offers the option of OTP(One Time Programmable). Programming the device with EE Bank OTP enable(under Device/Configure) will prevent further Write Erase orProgram operation on these 32 words. This is permanent and non-reversible. IfEE Bank OTP is enable chip erase will not function. To determine the status ofEE Bank the user must perform a Read operation. See SST spec for details information.
