Note
IMPORTANT: This device contains 192 bit Protection Register. All 192 bits are located in the buffer ataddress locations 400000h-400017h. The first 64 bits are pre-programmed by themanufacturer and cannot be modified. Program’ ‘Compare’ and ‘Verify’ operations willignore these bits. The other 128 bits are user programmable. Setting the ‘Lockout Parameter Block 0’option to ENABLE will Permanently Protect the Security Block(buffer address: 3FE000h-3FFFFFh). Setting the ‘Lockout User Register’ option to ENABLE willLock the User Programmable portion of the Protection Register. Enabling the ‘Lockout User Register’option will also Permanently Freeze the ‘Lockout Parameter Block 0’ existing status. WhenErasing the User Register of the Protection Register the programmer will blank-check the areaand will fail the ‘Erase’ operation if the area is not blank. Performing ‘Erase’ on the User Register orParameter Block 0 will also fail if their respective Protection Register Lock Bits have been ENABLED. ‘
BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
