Erase operation will erase the entire Main Flash and set the Option Bytes back to the default values. If RDP protection is set to level 1 (Non-AAh Non-CCh) the main Flash memory will not be readable but can be erased. If RDP protection is set to level 2 (CCh) the device debug interface is disabled. Any subsequent operation on the device will fail. Stand-alone operations may fail if the device was programmed with executable code. ‘


