Special Device Considerations:

1. Selecting Erase operation will do a global erase including the IAP area andoption bytes.
2. If the RDP protection is set to level 1 (non-AAh non-CCh) the Program FlashData EEPROM and the backup registers are totally inaccessible. The optionbytes also will not be verified after a Program operation. The device must beerased to perform subsequent operations.
3. If the RDP protection is set to level 2 (CCh) the option bytes will not beverified after a Program operation and any subsequent operations on thedevice will fail.
4. If the boot mode is modified to boot from anything other than systemmemory the option bytes will not be verified after a Program operationand any subsequent operations on the device will fail. Please see thedevice reference manual for more information.
5. If the device is programmed with executable code any subsequentoperations may fail.

BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
