IMPORTANT: Microcontroller with Flash EPROM. Memory organization: Bootstrap loader(BSL) Memory: 0800h-0BFFh (Device Address 16-bit) 1000h-17FFh (Data Pattern Address 8-bit) Information Memory: 0C00h-0C7Fh (Device Address 16-bit) 1800h-18FFh (Data Pattern Address 8-bit) Main Memory: 6100h-7FFFh (Device Address 16-bit) C200h-FFFFh (Data Pattern Address 8-bit) Data Pattern locations 0000h-FFFh(device location 0000h-7FFh) and 1A00h-C1FFh(device location D00h-60FF) are reserved and must contain data FFh. Each segment of the Information Memory and Main Memory may be Erased and Programmed separately. To access the Information Memory only set the Device > Range between C00h-C7Fh (device address). Information Memory data will be displayed in Data Pattern locations 1800h-18FFh. To access the Main Memory only set the Device > Range between 6100h-7FFFh (device address). Main Memory data will be displayed in Data Pattern locations C200h-FFFFh To access both Information and Main Memory set the range as 0000h-7FFFh (device address). Device address 7FC0h-7FFFh(Data Pattern location FF80h-FFFFh) are Interrupt Vectors. Programming invalid data to these locations may prevent further access to the device. The default device range is set to [0C00h-7FFFh]. This excludes BSL memory. Please select Entire Device’ under Device > Range if BSL Memory needs to be included. If Bootstrap loader(BSL) memory is programmed with executable code stand alone operation might fail. On the FR57xx devices the physical fuse has been replaced by a programmable JTAG fuse. Securing the device involves writing a specific signature to the JTAG signature location. When the fuse is programmed access to the device is only possible via the BSL (using the BSL password). However when the BSL password is supplied it is possible to clear the JTAG fuse and make JTAG communication available once again. Hence on the FR57xx devices blowing the JTAG fuse is reversible if the BSL password is known. ‘
