Note

IMPORTANT:

Device Type: ARM Cortex-M4F 32-bit MCU
Device Size: 1 MByte Flash Memory with 6 KByte EEPROM*
Algorithm Programming Method: Bootloader with parallel protocol

* EEPROM not currently supported. Memory Organization:

Memory Type

Attributes**

Included in default Range (Y/N) DUT Physical Byte Address (hex)(if this area is selected/Activated) BPWin Buffer Byte Address (hex)
Main Flash Memory R/W/E Yes 0000_0000 – 000F_FFFF 0000_0000 – 000F_FFFF
BOOTCFG Register R/W*** No 400F_E1D0 – 400F_E1D3 400F_E1D0 – 400F_E1D3
USER_REGn R/W/E No 400F_E1E0 – 400F_E1EF 400F_E1E0 – 400F_E1EF
Default Algorithm Range 0000_0000 – 000F_FFFF 0000_0000 – 000F_FFFF

** R:Read only W: One time programmable (OTP) R/W: readable and one time programmable (OTP) R/W/E: readable and rewritable if not locked. Any configurations listed under Device-Specific’ in the menu item Device-> Settings will be written to the DUT during ‘Program’ operation. *** Written during Secure operation instead of Program. Special Device Considerations:

Option Description Default (hex) Supported (Y/N)?
BOOTCFG[31:0] BOOTCFG Register (mapped to BPWin Buffer addresses 400FE1D0h-400FE1D3h)is one time programmable supported under Device > Settingsand programmed by Secure operation.Secure must be selected to program this Register. FFFF_FFFE Yes

Once BOOTCFG[1:0] is programmed to anything other than binary ’10’ the device is no longer accessible. If the Flash at address 00000004h programmed with a valid reset vector value and the BOOTCFG register does not indicate the boot loader the boot sequence causes the stack pointer/reset vector fetch from Flash hence the device is no longer accessible by this algorithm. Programmed device cannot be reprogrammed by this algorithm and standalone operations may fail if data programmed to the device affects the device booting process. Flash and EEPROM protection are currently not supported. If the device is programmed with code that disables the JTAG port the device may not be accessible. Secured and Unsecured batches must not be mixed. ‘

BPM does not sell programmable devices, nor do we program devices directly. BPM makes programmers and accessories to make programming in-house fast, easy, and profitable.
