IMPORTANT: Flash Memory with an OTP Block. This OTP Block is mapped to buffer locations400000-401EFFh. The first 5 Words are read only and mapped to buffer locations 400000h-400009hProgram’ ‘Compare’ and ‘Verify’ operations will skip these locations. The remaining Wordsof the OTP block are user programmable and mapped to buffer locations 40000Ah to 401EFFh.The user programmable area protection lock can be permanently enabled under Device/Configure.If the user programmable area of the OTP block is not blank or locked device will fail erase.If ‘Auto Range Detection’ is set to YES the OTP block will not be programmed or verified.Locking the Permanent Lock-Bit is also a one time operation and will freeze the statusindividual locked blocks. Trying to erase a locked block after the Permanent Lock-Bit has beenenabled will result in an ERROR. ‘
