FX4-FX2 socket module

The FX4 and FX2 socket modules are specifically designed for the 7th Generation series of programmers. With the capability of programming up to two or four devices simultaneously on just one programming site, these modules enable users to achieve greater productivity and reliability.
The independent socket daughter card design improves programming up-time and lowers operating cost because each socket daughter card can be replaced individually. FX4 and FX2 socket modules are offered in both manual and automated models

Our FX socket module technology offers improved programming speed over standard socket modules. FX modules are also designed with a replaceable socket daughter card, which extends the life of the socket module and improves signal integrity to the device.

High Insertion Count Socket Module

HIC (High Insertion Count) socket modules, also known as long-life socket modules, are designed for customers with high volume production requirements who aim for maximum programming yields.
These socket modules are rated to 300,000 cycles and support multiple package types. In addition, pogo pins can be replaced to extend the life of the socket. Ultimately, our HIC socket modules ensure productivity, long-term reliability, and very low operating cost per insertion

Universal Socket module

For a flexible and economic programming solution, we offer universal socket modules to support PLCC and DIP packages. The SM84UP supports over 5,000 PLCC devices with the use of individual templates to accommodate different pin counts. Templates for 20, 28, 32, 44, 52, 68, and 84 pin devices are included with each module. The SM48D, one of our earliest socket module designs, supports over 6,000 DIP devices. Both modules are compatible with all of our manual universal device programmers.

Flashstream socket module

Flashstream’s programming speed and socket card design offers the shortest return on investment on a cost-per-device basis. The unique design of Flashstream’s individual socket cards and receptacle-base socket option further reduce the programming cost per device.
Our Flashstream socket cards support high density NAND Flash, NOR Flash, Serial Flash and other memory devices.

socket module replacements socket daughter cards

Get the most out of your socket module with our individual replacement socket daughter cards. Unlike our competitors’ “gang” cards that are soldered to a common PCB, our customers can optimize the number of socket daughter cards needed and replace them individually without dramatically affecting programming capacity. This fault-tolerant design increases manufacturing up-time and saves replacement costs by as much as 75 percent.

receptacle base socket modules and socket cards

Our receptacle-base socket modules and socket cards include a receptacle interface between the printed circuit board and the socket. This allows our customers to replace only the individual consumable socket once it reaches its useful life.
This has proven to extend the life of the socket module and socket card, producing higher yields and lowering programming cost per device.

ISP-Pro socket modules

Known for our off-line programming solutions, we at BPM Microsystems can provide in-system programming solutions as well. With the combination of our ISP-PRO socket module and a BPM Microsystems manual device programmer, customers are now able to program devices after they have been placed “on board.”
